Our Team:

  • We provide extensive training and educational opportunities to ensure our behavioral therapists are up-to-date on ABA best practices.

  • We hire therapists who are serious about what they do – those who are board-certified, those completing practicum hours to become board-certified and those planning to apply to certification programs or programs in a related field.

Jennifer Phelps, M.S., BCBA

Founder/CEO


Jennifer founded Engage Behavioral Health in 2008. As owner and president, she specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. She is also an expert in Applied Verbal Behavior treatment for children with ASD.

Nicole Hanney, Ph.D., BCBA
Chief Clinical Officer
 
Nicole Hanney, Ph.D., BCBA fell in love with the field of applied behavior analysis in 2007. Since then, she has worked in the areas of skill acquisition and problem behavior reduction in a variety of settings, such as center-based clinics, residential schools, in-home services, public and private schools, and early intervention preschools. She has also provided services with several populations, including, typically developing children, caregivers, teachers, staff, adolescents and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and developmental disabilities, and visually impaired individuals.

Hannah Van Nostrand, M.S., BCBA

Clinical Director, Northern Virginia

 

Hannah has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health team since 2009. As a Clinical Director, Hannah assists with managing and supervising staff in Northern Virginia, as well as provides behavioral therapy.

Viviana Gonzalez, M.A., BCBA

Viviana Gonzalez has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2007. Her experience encompasses work with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities, as well as typically developing children and adolescents, caregivers, teachers and staff. She has worked in service delivery, training, supervision and research in the areas of skill acquisition and problem behavior reduction in a variety of settings, such as center-based clinics, private family and residential group homes, and public and private schools.

Gianna Fernandez, M.A., BCBA

Chief Operating Officer

 

Gianna has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health Team since 2008. As the clinical director, she specializes in coordinating quality, individualized ABA therapy to the clients at Engage Behavioral Health. She is responsible for the management and quality assurance of all clinical services provided by Engage’s clinical staff.

Mary Kate Lettera, M.S., BCBA

Clinical Director, Tallahassee

 

Mary Kate has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health Team since 2013. She specializes in providing intensive early intervention services to toddlers and young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has also worked with children and adults with behavioral disorders in a variety of different settings, including family homes, group homes and schools.

Amye has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health team since 2010. She specializes in developing and implementing verbal behavior, skill acquisition, social skills and behavior reduction programs. She is responsible for training families on how to implement behavior strategies.

Danielle Godish, M.A., BCBA
Senior Clinical Supervisor, North/South Tampa


Danielle has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health team since 2012. She specializes in the development, implementation and supervision of Verbal Behavior (VB) and Behavior Reduction Programs. She is responsible for parent and staff training to ensure proficient implementation of behavior programming across all environments.


Claire Stanford, M.S., BCBA
Senior Clinical Supervisor, North/South Tampa


Claire has been a member of Engage Behavioral Health since 2014. As a clinical supervisor, Claire provides direct therapy and supervises staff in the South Tampa area.


Kelsey Brown, M.A., BCBA

Senior Clinical Supervisor, Riverview/Brandon

 

Kelsey has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health team since 2015. She is a Senior Clinical Supervisor serving out of the Brandon/Riverview area. Kelsey has experience supervising and providing direct services in ABA with individuals ranging from ages 3-18 years old on a wide range of the spectrum and in a variety of settings.

Jamie has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health team since 2012. She provides individualized ABA therapy to clients as well as trains behavioral therapists on behavioral techniques, procedures, and preventative and reduction strategies. 

Elizabeth Solley, M.A., BCBA
Senior Clinical Supervisor, North/South Tampa


Elizabeth joined the Engage Behavioral Health team in 2012. She started as a behavior therapist and continues to provide direct therapy to children with autism and their families in the North Tampa, South Tampa, and Pinellas County areas. Elizabeth collaborates with therapists, families, and supervisors to develop effective interventions for clients.


Jane White, M.A., BCBA


Senior Clinical Supervisor, Wesley Chapel


Jane has been a Behavior Therapist at Engage Behavioral Health since 2012. She completed her master‘s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of South Florida. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina - Asheville.


Diana Kithcart, M.S., BCBA



Senior Clinical Supervisor, Wesley Chapel


Diana has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health team since 2014, providing services to families in the North Tampa area. Diana has experience working with clients ranging from early childhood up to adults, and has consulted in clinics, schools, group homes, and individual homes. Diana works with therapists, supervisors, and families to determine and carry out the most effective interventions for her clients.


Christina Ennis, M.A., BCBA
Senior Clinical Supervisor, Tallahassee


Christina has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health team since 2013 and joined the Tallahassee team in 2015. As a senior clinical supervisor, Christina assists with managing and supervising staff and provides behavioral therapy. She specializes in developing and implementing procedures to teach functional communication, daily living, leisure, and social skills as well as behavior reduction programs. As a Safety Care™ trainer,Christina also provides staff training in preventing, de-escalating, and responding to behavioral crises.

Emily Rhodes, M.A., BCBA
Clinical Supervisor, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania


Emily Rhodes has been a part of Engage Behavioral Health since 2012. Emily started as a behavior therapist and continues to provide direct therapy today in addition to her new role as a Clinical Supervisor in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. As a Clinical Supervisor, Emily collaborates with therapists and families to design and implement the most effective interventions for her clients.

Adam has been a member of the Engage Behavioral Health team since 2012. He started as a behavior therapist and has since gone on to become a BCBA in 2014. He specializes in developing and implementing verbal behavior programs using natural teaching strategies with children both in the home and school settings.
